Her approach

Five steps she returns to in every session, each one building on the last.

1

Listen

Every conversation starts with hearing what you actually want to say.

2

Understand

Taking the time to see your situation as you experience it, not as a category.

3

Support

A steady, non-judgemental presence through the harder parts.

4

Heal

Working through what's difficult, at a pace that's yours.

5

Grow

Building the confidence and tools to carry forward on your own.

The name

A safe space for the mind

Sith Mansala means a place where thoughts and feelings can be spoken openly, without judgement, and worked through with guidance. It is the philosophy the practice is built on, and the reason the counselling approach is shaped around each person's own story rather than a fixed method.

In their own words

Names are withheld for confidentiality.

I put off calling for two years. The first session was nothing like I feared — no forms, no judgement, just space to talk.

— A.P., Colombo

Online sessions meant I could keep going through a difficult year without anyone at home needing to know.

— S.K., Kandy

The art work we did gave me a way to describe things I had never been able to put into words.

— N.R., Galle

My son would not speak to me about school. After a few sessions he started, and I finally understood what had been going on.

— D.J., Negombo

She never rushed me or told me what to feel. That alone made the difference.

— M.F., Matara

I came for anxiety and left with tools I still use two years later.

— T.W., Kurunegala
